According to the myths of Karelia, Soul Birds would carry the souls of the newborns to their mothers and souls of the dead to Tuonela, the world of the dead.
 
The bird skulls are made of stone clay and the cord is felted wool, leather or metal chain.
 
The skulls are as seen in the first photo. The second photo shows the felted ribbon with a different pendant.
 
The felt ribbon is 45 cm long with an extender chain that allows around 10 cm extra to the lenght.
Leather cord and metal chains are 50 cm in length. (-/+ 10 cm can be added or removed by request)
