Shipping Policy

Our products are made by hand in our little workshop. We try to fulfill orders as quickly as we can, but it may take us a week or two to make your product and send it to you. 


Inside Finland normal delivery usually takes 2-5 days.


Internationally the shipping will take longer depending on where you live. Finnish postal service promises to deliver within EU in 8 days and anywhere in the world in 30, though it is not to be held responsible for delays caused by the customs services of other countries.

If you want to make a Custom Order of a product not listed on the shop page or wish to order a currently Out-of-stock item, please contact our customer service and we will give you an estimate on price and timetable.

Return & Exchange Policy

If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, contact our customer service.


If you wish to return a purchase, it needs to be returned unused and in its original condition and packaging. Please contact our customer service to arrange returns within 14 days of arrival. Unless you arrange for the return with us, you will be liable for the return postage.

Damaged or missing delivery 

Unfortunately even well packaged items can get damaged in the mail. Therefore we ask you to check your parcel for damage when receiving it. If there is damage to be seen, please IMMEDIATELY request to fill out a "Claims for Damage"- form in your local post and contact us for a replacement shipment. 

Akanvakka is not liable for shipments gone missing or damaged after posting.
